Weather you want to "rough it" in one of our Tent sites or enjoy our  RV hookups.  Big rigs are welcome with four sites that will accommodate 45 ft motor homes.We also have 3 fully equipped cottages with  loft sleeping and we are expanding from three cabins to four with one without bathroom,camping on the banks of the East Branch of the Penobscot River. With free Canoeing and Kayaking. Excellent small mouth bass fishing. Conveniently located near Baxter State Park and Mt. Katahdin. Fire wood, ice, picnic tables, fire rings, rec hall, playground, small campground store. . Group rates available.  We offer a get-away that is just what you’ve been looking for. Remote enough to be a welcome break from urban life, but close enough to enjoy any weekend, make our pristine property a family tradition. Easy access off I95  exit 244 turn left onto route 157 go.5 miles turn right at the blinking light onto route 11go 4 miles and we're on the left or g.p.s at 822 Grindstone Rd Medway,Me..We are a rustic campground that  all can enjoy.And we welcome pets and new this year our daughter is offering doggy daycare from June 15th thru August 30th

Mid season

This summer is turning out to be a great season with more big rigs than ever we have four sites that will accommodate big rigs up to 45 ft two full hook-ups and two waterfronts with water and electricity we  only have 30 amp service but it is a strong 30 amp. The river is a little low for tubing but some are doing it anyway we take guest only up and drop them off for a 3 mile trip if you are not staying with us your on your own !! Thanks everyone and look forward to meeting everyone again.

A new season and a new look !!

As many of our friends and extended family knows we had a fire in January and lost 2 buildings and our camper, but now we have it cleaned up and the new office is up and running . We want to thank everyone for your patient and know we are ready to enjoy the summer we look forward to seeing ole friends and making new ones along the way, as always happy trails to all

Memorial Day

We had a great weekend seeing all our friends from years past and got a chance to make new friends that is what camping is all about. We started the year off good this season and hope to continue to grow and make this place a place where memories are made for years to come!! We would like to thank everyone that came and helped us get the campground cleaned and rebuilt after the ice jam devastated the waterfront thanks to you we opened on time. We hope to see all our friends and make many new one from all over this world of our. May you summer vacations be safe and hope you will make us a part of it, Jeff, Jen, Jamie and Julia

2014 Camping season

Here we are heading into mid winter and it is time to start thinking about opening day, which will be Friday May 16th. Our season last year started out wet with plenty of rain but our guests braved the rain and made the best of it so Thank you !!We had a great second half of the season and the Columbus Day weekend picnic was a great success with over 120 guests showing up with great music great food and great people, we are truly blessed to have made so many new friends and look forward to making many more. Our campground family is growing but it can never be to big!! So if you are planning a trip to this area just drive in and check us out we would love to see you

Mid winter

Well it's hard to beleive that winter is flying by,work on the campground is coming good taking all the under growth out down to wilderness drive and it really looks good.We are adding four more sites with power and electricity 104-108 they are big sites and look forward to getting them going as soon as the snow leaves.We still have a couple of seasonal sites available on the pond and wilderness drive,The River front sites are going to be 1400.00 7 tax and electric the pond sites are 1200.00 & tax and electric.I will give weekly blogs for the rest of the winter.Have a great week
